Project Introduction：The original pipe consisted of two sections: one section was a 500x33 cross river PE pipe, which was 120 meters long and had local rupture. The maximum burial depth was 4 meters below the riverbed and it was always under a water depth and pressure environment of no less than 4 meters; The other section was connected to the 500x10 steel pipe, which was 22 meters long and had severe corrosion and leakage. The rehabilitation needed to be completed in one go, while ensuring that permanent connections with good structural and sealing properties were formed between the rehabilitation sections made of different materials.
