Pro-liner participated in the 12th Potable Water Conference 2026, Helping Safeguard the Lifeline of Urban Potable Water

Time:2026-05-18

2026 marks the starting year of the 15th Five-Year Plan. With the official promulgation and implementation of the new Potable Water Regulations, urban and rural Potable Water in China has entered a new stage of legalization, systematization and modernization, bringing both opportunities and challenges for high-quality development in the Potable Water industry. To fully implement the requirements of relevant policies and regulations, promote the transformation and practical application of technological innovations, and deepen exchanges and cooperation across the industry, the 2026 (12th) Potable Water Conference was held from May 13th to 15th, co-hosted by the journal Water & Wastewater Engineering and Changsha Water Industry Group Co., Ltd.

Centering on policy and regulation guidance, innovative technological application, practical capability implementation and international development exploration, this conference kept pace with new demands, scenarios and capabilities of the industry, building a high-end professional platform integrating policy interpretation, technical discussions, experience sharing and cooperation matchmaking. Invited to attend the exhibition, Pro-liner gathered with peers from water utilities, design institutes, scientific research institutions, universities and equipment suppliers nationwide by the Xiangjiang River to discuss the future development of the industry.

In the exhibition area, the Pro-liner booth stood out prominently. UV-CIPP liner samples for multi-scenario applications were displayed at the booth, and promotional posters presented relevant technical parameters of UV curing systems, attracting a large number of professional visitors from Potable water companies, design institutes and engineering institutions.

At the curing demonstration zone, Pro-liner showcased a UV-curing demonstration for Potable water systems, attracting numerous industry experts to observe and engaging in lively discussions on various technical challenges.

In the conference area, Wang Chao, R&D Manager of Pro-liner, delivered a keynote speech titled Empowering Urban Renewal: Consolidating the Foundation of Potable Water Security Resilience through UV-CIPP Technological Innovation at the 6th Exchange Conference on Resilient Construction and Operation & Maintenance Management of Urban Potable Water Pipe Networks.

Combined with the measured data and typical engineering cases of Pro-liner in recent years, Wang Chao elaborated in detail on key technological breakthroughs such as the improvement of liner E-modulus and long-distance continuous curing. The speech was rich in practical content and received an enthusiastic response on site. Many technical directors of Potable water enterprises had in-depth exchanges after the meeting to discuss the feasibility of incorporating this technology into the plan for improving pipe network resilience.

The potable water network is the "lifeline" of a city, and resilience is the confidence of this lifeline in the face of an uncertain future. Pro-liner is well aware that every technological breakthrough, every exhibition exchange, and every successfully repaired meter of pipeline carries the simple expectations of hundreds of millions of people for safe, stable and high-quality drinking water. From material research and development to equipment manufacturing, and from process optimization to standard formulation, Pro-liner always takes "consolidating the foundation of potable water security resilience" as its unwavering pursuit.
