Project Introduction:The pipe to be repaired was DN1000, with a length of 209 meters and a burial depth of 15m.
Construction Challenge:
1.Burial depth of 15m
The burial depth of this project was 15m. During the project construction, Pro-liner UV Curing system was equipped with a 300m cable, which can be extended to 15m underground for curing.
2.Long-distance curing of a single section: 209m
With a continuous rehabilitation length of 209 meters, it was a great challenge that the UV curing system maintained stable power during long-distance transmission. Pro-liner UV Curing system can maintain stability during long-time operations,it precisely controlled the curing speed in response to the fluctuation of resin curing rate that was prone to occur in long-distance construction, ensuring that the curing reaction remains stable throughout the continuous progress.
3.Large diameter DN1000, high E-modulus
The pipe to be repaired was buried 15 meters deep with abundant groundwater, requiring the UV-CIPP liner to resist external water pressure. Therefore, high E-module liners were used. After rehabilitation, it needed to reach the rated pressure, and the short-term E-modulus requirement for UV-CIPP liner was high, reaching 18000MPa.
