Application:Rainwater pipes
Project Introduction:Approximately 165 kilometers of municipal rainwater and sewage pipes should be repaired and renovated using methods such as UV--CIPP, CIPP, spraying, and grouting, and sediments, obstacles, etc. should be removed.
Construction Challenge:
1. Long term high-temperature operation of UV Curing system: In high-temperature environments, equipment may be at risk of overheating, damage, etc. Effective heat dissipation and protective measures needed to be taken. Long term high-temperature operations may lead to increased equipment wear and tear, which increases the difficulty of curing.
2. Working in water related environments: There was obvious flowing water in the repaired pipe, the bottom film entered the original pipe and floated on the surface of the accumulated water, making it unable to adhere to the original pipe. During the conventional UV-CIPP liner laying process, it was easy to detach from the bottom film and rub against the original pipe, resulting in liner damage and water ingress.
3. Large diameter: The construction section for pipe was relatively complex, with some sections having large diameters of DN1000-1590.
